Norma and Hal also established a fun and forward-thinking workplace. We work hard together, have fun together, and watch over one another. We work and think outside of the box!
We are proud to own the World’s First B Corp and to have practiced 100% mission-aligned investing (MAI) since our founding over 30 years ago—we think longer than any other foundation. We practice MAI by using our full endowment as a revolving loan fund investing in businesses that address social, economic, and environmental issues.
We keep raising the bar on the example we provide to the world of MAI and welcome creative colleagues who will help us expand our work, model, and vision.
The UnTours Foundation exists to fund and support changemaking businesses who are solving our world’s greatest challenges by providing affordable and flexible investment capital. Together, with radical kindness, we work to regenerate the natural world, create economic opportunity for all, and strengthen communities.
The foundation supports small businesses that create jobs, have diverse ownership, advance economic justice, and build a regenerative economy. Since our founding in 1992, the UnTours Foundation has made over $10 million in flexible investments. UnTours Foundation is a public charity, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The UnTours Foundation is the proud owner of the world’s first Certified B Corporation, UnTours, which donates 100% of its profits to the foundation to be invested in other world-changing businesses.
