Mandy has been a leader in innovative social enterprises since starting a shoe company in their garage in 1990 and growing it into the multimillion-dollar, employee-owned company, Dansko.
Dansko has been recognized for its leadership in advancing socially and environmentally responsible business practices, winning numerous awards, including the “Triple Bottom Line Award” from the Social Business Network of Greater Philadelphia; the “Green Business Award” from the Chester County Chamber of Business; “Corporate Goodwill Award” from Footwear Plus; “Best Places to Work Award” from the Philadelphia Enquirer; and the “Built To Last” and “Best For The World” awards from B Lab.
