Carolina Miranda is the Founder of Cultivating Capital. As a B Corp Consultant, she has helped businesses achieve B Corp certification and increase their impact and score with recertification. She is recognized for her expertise with the performance standards.
In addition to her experience working directly with companies throughout the certification process, she is one of only two consultants in North America to have been trained directly by B Lab twice. In 2021, she was one of only three U.S. participants in a pilot program run by B Lab to train external verifiers to perform certification verifications independently, and in 2023, she was in the inaugural cohort of trained B Consultants.
She has served on the Leadership Circle for the B Corp Women CEOs WeTheChange group, launched the B Impact Collective, an online community for B Corp enthusiasts, and is a strong advocate of the B Corp movement. She was awarded the 2020 Community Builders award from B Lab for her contributions to the community.
Carolina holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise that combines fundamental business skills with a deep understanding of sustainable business practices.
Prior to starting her own business, she had hands-on experience in developing a sustainability program and working on sustainability certifications as a Sustainability and Marketing Manager for a small business, where she certified her first B Corp in 2009.
